Privacy and access control
Healthcare professionals work inside your systems, under your access policy and your identity provider; we don't run a parallel environment or copy patient data anywhere. Contractor agreements carry confidentiality obligations, and we can align onboarding with your HIPAA, Australian Privacy Principles or equivalent training requirements. Sprint Labs does not certify your compliance programme; we staff it.
What do buyers ask about offshore healthcare administration staff?
Can offshore staff work inside our practice-management or EHR system?
Yes. Professionals work in whatever you already use, Cliniko, Halaxy, Epic, athenahealth, Nookal, Best Practice or a bespoke system, through your own accounts and access controls, just as an in-office team member would.
Do you provide clinicians?
No. We staff non-clinical and administrative healthcare roles — billing, coding, coordination, admin and support. We don't place registered practitioners into patient-facing clinical care.
What healthcare admin work is realistic to hand over first?
Most practices start with the rules-driven queues: eligibility and benefits verification, appointment scheduling and reminders, claims submission and denials follow-up. They are high volume, measurable daily, and easy to train against your own SOPs before you widen the remit to coordination or credentialing.
Do healthcare staff work our clinic hours?
Yes. Rosters are set to your clinic's opening hours, and many practices deliberately start staff earlier so verifications, authorisations and the day's schedule are finished before the first patient arrives.
How do you screen for healthcare admin experience?
We test on the work itself — a coding or claims sample, a scheduling scenario, and a patient-communication writing task — alongside prior EHR or practice-management exposure and spoken English assessed on a recorded call.
Are Sprint Labs healthcare staff employees or contractors?
Contractors. Sprint Labs engages vetted independent professionals under contractor agreements; they invoice Sprint Labs monthly through our portal and are responsible for their own tax and registrations. You interview and choose them, direct the work day to day, and Sprint Labs manages contracts, fees and payments, time off, performance concerns, replacement and offboarding.
How are they billed?
One flat monthly seat cost per person, in your billing currency, with the FX rate fixed at quote. It covers the contractor's fee, recruitment and vetting, contracts, payments and FX, management support and replacement. No recruitment fee and no percentage-of-salary model. Engagements carry a 60-day cancellation notice.
