Hire offshore staff across every function, not just engineering.

Sprint Labs recruits, employs and manages offshore staff across Asia for companies in Australia, the United States, New Zealand, Canada and the UK — engineers, accountants, marketers, support specialists, assistants and operations people.

You brief the role and direct the work. We are the legal employer: contracts, local-currency payroll, statutory benefits, HR support and compliance, billed to you as one flat monthly seat cost.

    In short

Hire offshore staff across every function, not just engineering.: the short answer

This page is the role directory: around thirty roles across finance, support, sales and marketing, operations, admin and engineering, with an indicative monthly band for each. Entry-level admin and support start near USD 1,000 a month; senior AI and platform engineers reach about USD 7,000. If you want the mechanics of how the employment, payroll and compliance work rather than the roles, read offshore staffing solutions instead.

    The team

Real, dedicated people — not a rotating vendor bench.

Every hire is interviewed for your brief, employed in-region and stays on your team long term.

Same tools, same rituals, overlapping hours.

Your offshore team joins your standups and boards directly, so day-to-day collaboration feels local.

    The model

Choosing which roles to move offshore first.

The question is rarely whether a role can be staffed offshore — it is which role to start with, and in what order. The employment mechanics are the same for every seat and are explained in full on our offshore staffing solutions page; this page is about the roles themselves.

Start where the queue is longest, not where the salary is highest

The first seat should relieve a backlog someone can describe in a sentence — unreconciled invoices, a support queue with a two-day first response, leads that never get called twice. Roles with a visible queue produce a measurable result inside a quarter, which is what earns the second seat.

Roles that transfer well, and roles that do not

Work that lives in shared tools and produces reviewable output transfers cleanly: bookkeeping, AP/AR, ticketed support, outbound prospecting, campaign execution, QA, engineering, reporting and admin. Work that depends on walking the floor, in-person client entertainment or handling physical stock does not, and we will say so before you brief it.

Mixed-function teams sit under one agreement

An accountant in Manila, a marketer in Ho Chi Minh City and a QA engineer in Jakarta are three seats on one Master Services Agreement and one monthly invoice, each with their own Work Order. You do not run a separate arrangement per function or per country.

Get the seniority mix right before adding headcount

Two mid-level people with no senior to review them usually underperform one senior plus one junior at the same total cost. For any function you are moving offshore in volume, brief the reviewing role first, then scale the execution seats beneath it.

    Cost benchmarks

Indicative monthly band by role, USD.

Per-role bands rather than broad function averages, so you can price a specific hire. Each figure is a fully-loaded seat cost covering salary, statutory benefits, local payroll, hardware, HR support and Sprint Labs' employer overhead. Market and shift pattern move the number within the band; your exact quote is generated in-app against your brief.

    Australia and the United States

How do I cover Australian and US time zones with one team?

Our recruiting markets sit in the GMT+7 to GMT+8 band, which is what makes covering Australia and the United States from one team practical. A Manila or Ho Chi Minh City hire covers a standard 9am–6pm AEST day almost exactly, with an hour or two of offset. For US teams the same person can work an evening shift that lands on US Pacific and Eastern mornings, or an early shift that gives you completed work waiting when you log on. Shift patterns — including any night differential local law requires — are agreed in the Work Order and priced into the monthly seat cost, so there are no surprise loadings later.

    FAQ

    Questions about hiring offshore staff.

What roles can I staff offshore?

Around thirty, in four groups: finance and admin (bookkeeper, AP/AR, payroll, accountant, virtual and executive assistant), revenue (SDR, digital marketer, customer success manager, account manager), service and operations (support specialist, operations manager, coordinator), and technology (full-stack, front-end, back-end, mobile, QA, DevOps, data, security, AI and automation engineers). The role directory above links to a guide for each.

Which role should I hire offshore first?

The one with a describable backlog and reviewable output — usually bookkeeping and AP/AR in finance-heavy businesses, first-line support in service businesses, and QA or a full-stack engineer in product companies. Those roles show a measurable result inside a quarter, which makes the second and third seats an easy decision.

Which roles do you advise against staffing offshore?

Anything that depends on physical presence — field service, warehouse and stock handling, in-person client entertainment, roles requiring a local licence to sign off work, and first-time enterprise sales into relationships that are built face to face. We will tell you before you brief it rather than fill the seat and let it fail.

Can I hire several different roles at once?

Yes. Seats across different functions and different countries sit on the same Master Services Agreement, each with its own Work Order, and arrive on one monthly invoice in your currency. Most engagements start with one or two roles and add seats as results land.

Can offshore staff work my business hours?

Yes. Our recruiting markets sit in GMT+7 to GMT+8, which covers a standard Australian business day almost exactly. For US teams, shifts are set to overlap US Pacific or Eastern mornings, and the shift pattern is agreed in the Work Order and priced into the seat cost.

How does the employment side work?

Sprint Labs is the legal employer in each market, so you do not need a local entity. The full explanation of the model, the compliance position and how it compares with BPO, freelance and agency arrangements is on our offshore staffing solutions page.
