What happens to their current contract?
You end the freelance or platform arrangement on a date you choose, and we start the contractor agreement the next working day. We coordinate the dates so there is no gap in work or payment timing for them.
How long does a transfer take?
We reply within one business day with pricing. Once the service order is signed, local contracting and onboarding usually takes one to two weeks, depending on the country and notice they owe.
What does it cost compared with a normal placement?
The Contractor of Record fee is $200 per contractor per month, flat, with the platform included. Your contractor's fee is additional at cost. Singapore-billed clients: plus 9% GST. The 30-day replacement promise does not apply to transfers.
What does the 60-day notice mean?
Once someone is engaged, engagements run on 60 days' notice. That is the window we use to manage handover, replacement and offboarding, and it is the same for transferred people as for anyone we place.
Does the person's pay change?
The contractor's monthly fee is agreed with you before the engagement starts, and we aim to keep it the same or better. What changes is that Sprint Labs manages the contractor agreement, invoicing and payments.
Do they use the same portal as the rest of my team?
Yes. After activation they appear on your Team page as a Sprint Labs-managed contractor, with time off, performance concerns and engagement details handled like any other placement.
