Offshore staffing solutions built on real employment.

Sprint Labs is an offshore staffing company headquartered in Singapore. We recruit talent across Asia, employ them under local law, and place them full-time with companies in Australia, the United States and beyond.

It is not outsourcing and it is not a recruitment agency. You get a dedicated employee inside your team; we carry the employment, payroll, benefits and compliance.

    In short

Offshore staffing solutions built on real employment.: the short answer

This page explains the model rather than the roles. Offshore staffing means a person who works only for you, sits in your tools, and is employed and payrolled in their own country by Sprint Labs — so you need no local entity and carry no misclassification or permanent-establishment exposure. You sign one Master Services Agreement plus a Work Order per seat, pay one flat monthly amount in your currency, and give 60 days' notice to end an engagement. For the list of roles and per-role pricing, see hire offshore staff.

    The team

Real, dedicated people — not a rotating vendor bench.

Every hire is interviewed for your brief, employed in-region and stays on your team long term.

    How you work together

Same tools, same rituals, overlapping hours.

Your offshore team joins your standups and boards directly, so day-to-day collaboration feels local.

    The model

The model, and how it compares to the alternatives.

The four models people compare are outsourcing to a BPO, contracting freelancers, using a recruitment agency, and managed offshore staffing. They fail and succeed in different places.

    Versus outsourcing to a BPO

A BPO takes a process off your hands and runs it with pooled staff under their own supervisors. That works for high-volume, highly-scripted work. It fails when the work needs product context, because the person doing it is not really in your team and rotates without warning. Offshore staffing keeps the cost profile but gives you a named person you manage directly.

    Versus hiring freelancers or contractors

Freelance marketplaces are fast and cheap to start, and expensive to keep. There is no employment relationship, no benefits and no notice period, so retention is poor and your knowledge walks out regularly. Paying overseas contractors directly also carries misclassification and permanent-establishment risk for your business.

    Versus a recruitment agency

An agency charges a placement fee, hands you a CV and exits. You are then responsible for employing someone in a country where you have no entity, no payroll and no HR. Offshore staffing removes the fee and keeps the employment overhead with us for the life of the engagement.

    They are employed, not contracted

Sprint Labs is the legal employer in-market. Every person signs a real employment agreement with us, gets local-currency payroll, statutory benefits and leave entitlements, and is supported by our HR team. That is why retention holds — you are not renting a freelancer who leaves for the next rate bump.

You do not need an entity

No local company, no registered branch, no payroll provider in the Philippines or Vietnam. You sign one Master Services Agreement with Sprint Labs and a Work Order per seat. Compliance, tax withholding and statutory contributions sit with us.

It is not a BPO or an agency placement

A BPO gives you a pooled worker managed by a BPO supervisor. A recruitment agency takes a placement fee and disappears. You get a named, dedicated person who works in your tools, joins your standups and reports to you — while the employment overhead stays with us.

    One flat monthly seat cost

Salary, statutory benefits, local payroll, hardware, HR support and our employer margin are in a single monthly figure, invoiced in your currency at a rate fixed when you accept the quote. There is no recruitment fee, no success fee and no per-hire commission.

    Cost benchmarks

What a seat costs by market, USD per month.

Blended across all functions, from admin through senior engineering, so you can compare markets rather than roles. Every figure is fully loaded: salary, statutory benefits and employer contributions, local payroll, hardware, HR support and Sprint Labs' employer overhead. The rate is fixed in your currency when you accept the quote, so exchange-rate movement does not change your invoice mid-term. Per-role pricing sits on the hire offshore staff page.

    How it works

How long does it take to go from brief to first day?

Brief the role in-app, get a named and vetted shortlist in 5–10 business days, interview the people you like, and we handle the offer, the contract, the local payroll and the onboarding. One flat monthly invoice in your own currency, 60-day cancellation notice, no placement fee.

    01

    Brief the role

Tell us the responsibilities, seniority, tools and hours you need. Ten minutes in-app, or a call if you'd rather talk it through.

    02

    Shortlist in 5–10 days

Run your own interviews and working sessions. Nobody joins your team without your decision.

    04

    We employ and onboard

Employment agreement, local-currency payroll, statutory benefits, hardware and HR support — all ours. You get one flat monthly invoice in your own currency.

    Australia and the United States

How do I cover Australian and US time zones with one team?

Our recruiting markets sit in the GMT+7 to GMT+8 band, which is what makes covering Australia and the United States from one team practical. A Manila or Ho Chi Minh City hire covers a standard 9am–6pm AEST day almost exactly, with an hour or two of offset. For US teams the same person can work an evening shift that lands on US Pacific and Eastern mornings, or an early shift that gives you completed work waiting when you log on. Shift patterns — including any night differential local law requires — are agreed in the Work Order and priced into the monthly seat cost, so there are no surprise loadings later.

    FAQ

    Questions about offshore staffing solutions.

    What are offshore staffing solutions?

Offshore staffing means hiring a full-time person in a lower-cost country who works exclusively for your business, while a partner company employs them locally and handles payroll, benefits and compliance. Unlike outsourcing, the work is not handed to a vendor to run — the person joins your team, uses your tools and reports to you.

Is Sprint Labs an offshore staffing agency or an employer of record?

Both parts of that, together. We recruit and vet the candidate like a staffing agency, and we employ and payroll them in-market like an employer of record. The difference from a standalone EOR is that we source the person too, and there is no separate placement fee — it is one monthly seat cost.

    What does offshore staffing cost?

From roughly USD 1,000 per month all-in for entry-level support to USD 7,000 for senior AI and platform engineers, quoted as one flat monthly figure per seat. That covers salary, statutory benefits, local payroll, hardware, HR support and our employer margin. There is no recruitment fee, and the rate is fixed in your currency at the point you accept the quote.

Which countries do you place staff into?

We work with companies in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Singapore, and we recruit from the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and Malaysia.

    What do I actually sign?

One Master Services Agreement with Sprint Labs Pte Ltd in Singapore, then a Work Order per seat setting out the role, the seat cost, the shift pattern and the start date. The employment agreement is between Sprint Labs and the employee in their own country — you are not a party to it and do not employ anyone abroad.

Who handles payroll, tax and statutory benefits?

Sprint Labs does, in-market. We run local-currency payroll, withhold income tax, remit employer and employee social contributions, administer leave and health cover, and accrue statutory extras such as Philippine 13th-month pay. You receive one invoice a month in your own currency.

Is this legal for a US or Australian company?

Yes. Because Sprint Labs employs the person in their own country and complies with local employment law there, you are buying a service from a Singapore-registered company rather than employing someone abroad yourself. That removes the permanent-establishment and misclassification risk that comes with paying overseas contractors directly.

What if it doesn't work out?

Tell us within the first 30 days and we replace them at our cost. After that, we run a replacement search at no additional recruitment cost. Engagements carry a 60-day cancellation notice, which protects the employee and gives you time to hand over — but if you want to swap rather than end the engagement, the replacement search runs in parallel so there is no gap.
